Leading logistics company Spot recently announced the official opening of its new office in Chicago. Located in the landmark Marshall Field & Company Building, this marks the logistics company’s sixth office in the U.S.

The office lease, which was first announced in February, includes 31,000 square feet of Chicago Loop office space on the 11th floor of the iconic property that’s home to Macy’s and the famous Tiffany Dome Ceiling.

“We are excited to move into our permanent space in Chicago,” said Spot Co-Founder Andrew Elsener. “This is a major milestone for our company, and it reflects our commitment to growing our business in North America. Chicago is a strategic location for us, and we look forward to building strong relationships with our customers and partners in the region.”

Offering unparalleled access to the Chicago central business district, the property is a LEED Silver-certified and WELL Health and Safety-rated building, which aligns with Spot’s future initiatives in environmental, social, and governance practices and goals. Featuring convenient access to all seven CTA lines, the pedway, and Millennium Park, the location is also home to the iconic Cloud Gate sculpture (also known as The Bean), interactive fountains, and tranquil gardens. Meanwhile, amenities at the Marshall Field & Company building include a rooftop park and lounge; a fitness center; and dining, retail, and hotel options.

Having occupied a temporary space in the same building since earlier this year, the office houses more than 30 sales professionals and management staff. The new, permanent office is expected to accommodate Spot’s projected growth. By leveraging the area’s diverse talent pool, Spot plans to work intensely toward filling its Chicago office seating capacity throughout the next several years.

“We were drawn to 24 E. Washington St. for its prime location in the heart of downtown Chicago, its variety of amenities, and its commitment to sustainability,” Elsener said. “We believe this new office will provide our employees with a vibrant and collaborative workspace where they can thrive and help us achieve our mission.”
