American transportation and logistics company Ryder recently announced its new corporate headquarters location. The company has signed a long-term lease for a new Miami office space at The Colonnade in Coral Gables, Fla.

Initially founded in South Miami in 1933, the company celebrates its 90th year with a strategic relocation at the state-of-the-art office property. Located at 2333 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, the building rises 11 stories above the intersection of Ponce de Leon and Coral Way in the heart of the Coral Gables business district.

The Ryder name and compass logo will soon adorn the top of the imposing, Mediterranean-style property, which will also be renamed Ryder Colonnade. Expected to be ready for occupancy in early 2024, the new Ryder headquarters claims two stories in the building and is designed to accommodate a hybrid work style for the nearly 800 employees based in south Florida, many of whom will remain working remotely or in a hybrid-work capacity.

Ryder’s new Coral Gables office space will feature the latest technology infrastructure, which ensures fast and secure access to information, as well as fosters stronger collaboration between the company’s business units and its more than 760 maintenance shops and 300 warehouse facilities.

In addition to administrative operations, the new headquarters is also designed to function as a showcase for Ryder technology and innovative solutions to provide customers with the tools they need to operate effectively in today’s highly dynamic environment. Specifically, a customer innovation center will showcase Ryder’s unique expertise in advanced vehicle technology, e-commerce fulfillment, collaborative logistics, fleet optimization, and customer-facing automation technologies.

Originally completed in 1926, The Colonnade building has been well maintained and repositioned throughout its life. The property includes 18,500 square feet of retail space, features 25,000-square-foot floor plates, and offers a diverse amenity package, which includes a fitness center, an on-site café, a ballroom, a convenience store, conference rooms, and more than 630 parking spaces.
