Comerica Bank Launch Coworking Concept in Dallas
Dallas-based Comerica Bank recently announced the launch of Comerica Coworkspaces, a $3 million initiative that will transform nearly 10,000 square feet of retail banking space into flex workspace across nine existing locations. For now, the bank has announced six coworking spaces in Dallas, two of which are now open.
The coworking spaces will provide both common and private working areas with a range of applications, including open work areas, dedicated cubicles, conference rooms and private offices. Additionally, small businesses will be able to host meetings, as well as community events, with coworking space layouts set to differ by location.
Furthermore, Comerica expects to open the doors soon to a new $5 million BusinessHQ in Dallas to provide small businesses with an 8,000-square-foot, community-focused resource center that will include coworking space. Located at the Comerica RL Thornton Highway branch, the upcoming concept can accommodate up to 25 small businesses daily with arrangements including incubation fellowships and technical assistance programs.
