The Oakey Building is an attractive four-story steel frame building that contains approximately 100,625 rentable square feet, for sale or lease. The building was originally built for the IRS in 1989 and therefore has modifications, such as a high-security system, computer room with pressurized floors, fiber optics, and other tenant-related amenities. Interior renovations were done in 2005. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has leased the entire building for six years; the lease expired August 1, 2011.

The building has numerous modifications that were all part of the original GSA lease, such as extra security cameras, combination entries into each office area, a computer room with a back-up generator, and fiber optics. The fiber optics are through Century Link, a 12 strand with no redundancy. The police department was only using 6 of the 12 strands.

The building includes two passenger elevators, one freight elevator, with loading dock near the freight elevator. Each floor has a men's and women's restroom located off the centrally located elevator lobby. 9+/- foot high ceilings on all floors. Partitioning on each floor is predominantly drywall with carpeted floors. There is also an under-floor Robinson duct system that provides flexibility for the location of a tenant's phone, data, and electrical services. A significant amount of open space exists with removable partitioning. In 2005 a four story parking structure was built, providing 255+/- parking spaces, in addition to 206+/- surface parking spaces, for a total of 461 spaces.
