Interesting and historic building located near Shreveport Commons art district. The one time location of the Saenger Drug Store many locals will recall it being the home of Standard Brand Shoes for many decades as well. The ground floor and mezzanine space is separated from the upper two floors which are still configured as an early 20th Century hotel This space remains unchanged. Wood floors; shiplap and plaster walls; a wooden hand rail and bannister; transom windows over the doors and over 20 varying size rooms. As was the case in this era, wash rooms were common to each floor with claw foot tubs. This is a very interesting property to say the least and additional historic information will be included in this write-up as more details are uncovered.
