Walnut Creek Office Space

Just East of Oakland and San Francisco sits Walnut Creek, a small yet convenient and charming city, which capitalizes on it’s proximity to several major areas of commerce. Wedged in the East Bay portion of the San Francisco Bay Area, Walnut Creek is a great place for cheaper office space while still being accessible to BART.

The cities population may be small, but being located at the junction for major highways to San Jose and Sacramento have led to considerable growth in recent years. Most of the commercial spaces are reasonably priced in this up and coming area.

Walnut Creek at a Glance

Walnut Creek is in Contra Costa County and the city was originally settled due to its placement on the Southern Pacific railroad until 1970. In the early 70’s, the voters of Walnut Creek approved a measure that allowed the city to spend $6.7 million dollars to purchase 1,800 acres of undeveloped hillsides, ridgelines, and park sites. Now the city owns more open space per capita than any other city in the all of California.

Also, The East Bay Regional Park District operates Diablo Foothills Regional Park and Castle Rock Regional Recreation Area, both in Walnut Creek. Due to this, the city boasts plenty of outdoor activity space and a variety of options for outdoorsy people. If you enjoy hiking, biking, or even just enjoying the outdoors, Walnut Creek is a pretty great option.
