New York Office & Commercial Space

Located in the Northeast region of the United States, it ranks as the third most populous state in the nation. New York is bordered by New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont. Many often confuse New York State and New York City so residents commonly emphasize the term state when referring to the entire region. New York City in New York attracts the most foreigners and tourists out of any other city in the US which has given the state a substantial foreign population.

Also known as The Empire State with a suitable motto of “ever upward,” New York is home to some of the largest and most successful financial and fashion centers in the world which continually inspires business moguls from all over to flock to the city for economic opportunity.

Office space for rent is found all throughout the state of New York with prices ranging from as low as $15 to $65 per square foot with square footage for each ranging from 300 to 21,000.

New York at a Glance

Prior to the state being inhabited by Dutch settlers, it was primarily occupied by Algonquian and Iroquoian speaking Native Americans. It wasn’t until the early 17th century when Dutch settlers migrated to the area to harvest the land as they were led by Henry Hudson. However, as time progressed the British eventually claimed rule over the colony, which was New Netherland at the time, by way of annexation in 1664. Since a significant bulk of the British colony was stationed in New York because of the annexation, approximately one-third of the battles of the Revolutionary War occurred in New York.

New York is the hub for some of the most notable, internationally renowned landmarks. People travel tens of thousands of miles annually to tour some of these great monuments including: Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Grand Terminal Central, Rockefeller Center, and Coney Island. These are just a portion of the vast list of places New York has to visit. After experiencing some top-tier landmarks it is custom for people to dine at some of New York’s finest restaurants like Extra Virgin, 21 Club, Tribeca Grill, and Blue Hill.

Transportation is provided to each location by the MTA subway and bus system.
