The strategic partnership of industry leaders WeWork and Yardi has recently announced the launch of WeWork Workplace, a sleek new workplace management solution. The end-to-end platform provides businesses with an all-encompassing solution for managing office space occupancy and optimizing the real estate portfolio while enhancing employee productivity.

The app is designed to ease seating allocation for office users as they shift towards flexible work arrangements. This software solution makes it easy to bring together all of the traditional, shared, and coworking office spaces that a diverse portfolio might include: both independently leased and owned spaces, as well as access to the more than 500 WeWork locations worldwide.

“Businesses today must solve for bringing flexible work models to life — optimizing their spaces without sacrificing the culture, collaboration, and productivity that happens in-person. This is what we aim to deliver with WeWork Workplace,” said Scott Morey, WeWork president of Technology & Innovation.

“Combining our advantages in scale, speed, and access to flexible spaces with Yardi’s industry-leading software and tech capabilities, WeWork Workplace doesn’t stop at desk booking or backend insights — it aims to solve for a dynamic, constantly evolving future of work,” added Morey.

Everything Under One Roof

WeWork Workplace software aims to:

  • Improve employee experience across portfolios — this includes guest management, calendar integration, interactive floor maps, strategies for encouraging employee interaction and collaboration, booking, automation and management tools, and many other dynamic features aimed at improving engagement with the office.
  • Manage all spaces regardless of company size or asset type — the platform is accessible to all companies, regardless of industry or geographic location. Create user groups, control and manage capacity, as well as space surplus.
  • Prepare future real estate strategies — access reliable and effective data with confidence, observe daily updated statistics, as well as historical and present-day trends at the building level, including the ratio of bookings to occupancy.

Rob Teel, senior vice president at Yardi, added in a prepared statement: “Today I am at home, tomorrow I’m booking desks for my team at headquarters to collaborate, next week I need a large training room and desk at WeWork with a client. The Workplace app handles it all.”

WeWork Workplace was created to provide a better office experience for companies of all types and sizes, while assisting them to efficiently operate at full potential in a flexible work arrangement.
