CIM Signs Office Lease with Land’n Sea at 1440 Broadway
Los Angeles-based real estate and infrastructure owner, operator, lender and developer CIM Group recently announced the execution of a new office space lease at its 1440 Broadway property in Midtown Manhattan.
Specifically, Land’n Sea — designer, manufacturer and distributor of wearing apparel — has agreed to a 33,819-square-foot office space at the property. The leased space is located on the third floor and will serve as the company’s headquarters. The transaction was handled by CIM Group’s in-house leasing team in partnership with CBRE. No further transaction details were included in the announcement.
Located in the Theatre District – Times Square submarket of Manhattan, 1440 Broadway rises 25 stories above the corner of Broadway and 40th Street. The building was originally completed in 1924 and underwent a complete renovation in 2001. A capital improvement program was just recently completed and included a renovation of the 40th Street entrance to create a modern lobby, as well as the addition of a rooftop deck with seating options and views of Bryant Park, Times Square and the Hudson River.
The 756,732-square-foot commercial property incorporates roughly 733,000 square feet of LEED Gold-certified Midtown Manhattan office space, as well as 24,000 square feet of retail with major street exposure along Broadway. Tenants in the building have access to premium amenities, including a tenant lounge; more than 21,000 square feet of outdoor terraces throughout the building; and best-in-class digital connectivity that has been recognized with a WiredScore Gold certification.
