San Ramon Office Space

Nearby east of San Francisco lays San Ramon. While San Francisco is the hub of commerce and technology for the west coast, San Ramon is the perfect place for the shrewd business owner to lay a foundation for their business. A much quieter alternative to the hustle and bustle of the big city, it is also a growing city itself. With rents in San Francisco spiking and commercial properties becoming fewer and fewer, nearby cities like San Ramon are the perfect place to set up shop while still available to business inside the big city.

San Ramon at a Glance

San Ramon was once home to the Seunen Indians. After a variety of changes, it was finally sold to Leo and Mary Jane Norris, which led to the first American settlers. William Lynch, James Dougherty and other settlers can still be remembered today. Their names grace various canyons, hills, and streets of San Ramon.

Today San Ramon is a vibrant city. It is considered as one of California’s outstanding urban villages. With only a population of 100 in 1966, thanks to the efforts of Western Electric, today’s population of San Ramon has grown to almost 74,000. The city is growing itself. Its plan to expand the downtown by 40 acres will bring culture to the small city. New developments that include a public plaza, hotel, independent cinema, city hall, library, transit center, and office spaces will surely serve businesses and residents well.

Where to Rent in San Ramon

San Ramon has much to offer for businesses that are considering relocating nearby San Francisco. The area offers many office buildings that are centrally located, yet feature great views. Central San Ramon is a great place to find an office space. There are many options and there are many restaurants nearby for the after work dinner. Central park that is within walking distance can also provide a great retreat from the office.

Bishop Ranch, a master-planned office park development, is perhaps the first industrial area of San Ramon. It is now home to several companies including the Chevron headquarters.

Other options include up and coming Omega Road off of Crow Canyon Rd. The area is currently building office spaces that can be bought pre-built. While a little farther from the center, the area promises to be an industrial center of San Ramon. The offices are also sold much cheaper than other offices, for what is to be a brand new surrounding.
