A veteran of Chicago’s advertising industry and a former principal of a Chicago ad agency, Joe has brought a wealth of strategic brand development knowledge as well as customer acquisition and retention experience to Seneca Real Estate Group. He has worked with many well-known national companies including Kemper Insurance, CNA, CareerBuilder, CellularOne (Cingular/AT&T), Sauder Furniture and other financial, retail and consumer services companies.
Prior to starting Seneca’s commercial leasing division, Joe ran the in-house leasing activities for Preferred Development…a developer of single and multi-tenant retail properties. At Seneca, Joe represents many property owners on a wide variety of retail, office and industrial properties. Throughout the last 10 years, Joe has personally completed leases on well over one million square feet of space representing over $200 million in cumulative net operating income for his clients; helping them enhance the value of their real estate holdings. Joe has worked with The Gap, Starbucks, Athleta, Noodles & Co., Dollar Tree, Rent-a-Center, Ashley Stewart, Jimmy Johns, Kiddie Academy, GameStop, SportClips, GNC, Five Guys, and more as well as a host of local independent tenants looking to grow.
In addition to working with property owners, Joe is also an experienced Tenant representative …helping to find ideal locations for his clients to call home and build their businesses.

Joe received a BA in Journalism from the University of Iowa. He is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois , a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Chicago Association of Relators (CAR) and is a former board member of Children’s Memorial Hospital Corporate Champions.
