Alex executed over $75 million in real estate lease and investment transactions since 2008, making him one of the top producing commercial real estate brokers in the Bay Area.

Alex's past experience includes serving as a Vice President at Cornish & Carey Commercial, where he co-founded their Data Center Practice in 2006 and as a top-ranked Corporate Sales Manager for MCI Telecommunications.

Alex is an active leader of Corporate Real Estate Network (CORENET) and created and moderated the May 2008 panel discussion at Google on "Developing a Winning Technology Strategy for RE Executives". Alex is also a member/sponsor of National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and The Belden Club.

Alex earned a Bachelor's of Science in Communications and Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in Marketing, Finance and Entrepreneurship from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Alex was recently named one of Northwestern University’s Top 70 Notable Alumni – Business and Technology.

Alex served as the Events Chair and Treasurer for the Kellogg Alumni Club of The Bay Area for 2 1/2 years, creating and producing over 35 events, frequently in partnership with other top 5 business schools. Alex is also a member of Kellogg's "Dean's Council" and Northwestern's "Leadership Council".

Alex served on the Board of Governors of the pro-bono tech charity IT Resource Center for 5 years, and was subsequently named Marketing Committee Chair and to the Technology Steering Committee for the Chicago Public Schools.

Alex has participated in competitive yacht racing since joining the Northwestern University Sailing Team in 1990.

Alex and and his Kellogg / Berkeley team recently placed 2nd in the Global MBA Regatta (tied for 1st place, and won 1st place in the final race, but the tie-breaker went to London) with Alex at Main Trimmer. In September of 2012, Alex's team secured a "podium" 3rd place in the J120 division in the North American IRC Yacht Racing Championships "The Rolex Big Boat Series" as a Jib/Spinnaker Trimmer on the Grace Dances team. Alex's team won 1st place in the 2010 Sunday Wheeler Regatta with Alex as Main Trimmer on the Santa Cruz 50 Deception. Alex won 1st place in the 2008 YRA Season Closer as the Main Trimmer aboard Astra. Alex was the main trimmer for the Beneteau 42.7 Cirque, ranked #1 overall in their division for the 2007 Bay Area ocean racing season, won 1st place at the Banderas Bay Blast in December on Cirque in Puerto Vallarta.

Alex has also run 4 marathons and lives in Burlingame with his wife and two children, where he serves as the Co-Chair of The Burlingame Dad's Club and is a member of the Burlingame Chamber of Commerce and the First Prebyterian Church.
